If I submit an abstract, do I have to attend the IDSS?
All accepted abstracts are scheduled in the Scientific Program either as oral or poster presentations. At least one author of the abstract should attend the meeting to present the work and answer questions. Only abstracts of registered participants will be scheduled in the Scientific Program. After all abstracts have been reviewed by the Scientific Committee will notifications be sent to the abstract submitters. This process will be finalized within one month after the abstract submission deadline – Deadline for abstract submission: November 15, 2021.

How can I pay the registration fees?
Payment of registration fees can be made by credit card or bank transfer. For full details please click here.
How can I pay the registration fees for a group?
For group booking (5-10 and more) please contact the Symposium Secretariat at email@example.com.
Can I receive an invoice under the sponsoring Company/ Hospital’s name?
Yes. If you require an invoice to be issued to the sponsoring institution/company, the steps below should be followed:
- Participant should complete the online registration form and select “Purchase Order” under “Payment Method”. Please indicate in the invoice field the name to be specified on the invoice and its VAT number.
- Payment from the institution/company should be received at Ortra, the symposium secretariat shortly after the submission of the registration form.
- Participants who select “purchase order” MUST send the symposium secretariat an official “Purchase Order” from their institution/company. An invoice will be issued only after the receipt of the above document.
- The Purchase Order should be made to Ortra (VAT # 510936347) and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or to Ravit@ortra.com stating the amount and services covered. A printout of the registration summary should be enclosed.
Can I register for the symposium without paying?
No. Charges for payment of registration are not automatic and will be charged at anytime.
Can I register before the early fee deadline and pay later?
No. In order to benefit from the early fee registration discount, registration charges will be made before the deadline.
What does my registration fee include?

Will I receive a confirmation letter after I have finished registering?
Yes. A detailed confirmation letter and receipt will be sent to you by email as soon as payment is charged and registration is completed.
How can I find out information about hotels and their rates?
Ortra company is offering IDSS 2022 participants specially reduced rates for various hotels in Tel Aviv.

How can I book my room, and should I pay in advance?
In order to book a room, please book online via the registration form here. At time of registration you will be charged for your stay as per the accommodation booking policy at the chosen hotel. Please note cancelation policy and further details to be advised soon.
Will I receive a hotel confirmation?
Yes. A detailed confirmation letter and receipt will be sent to you by email as soon as registration and accommodation payment is charged and completed.
Can I book a hotel room without registering for the Symposium?
No. If you need further assistance, please email the Symposium Secretariat at email@example.com.

Invitation Letters and Visa Applications
How do I apply for a visa to visit Israel?
All visitors are required to have a valid passport, and for some countries, a visa is required. For more information please contact your nearest Embassy, Consulate or local travel agency well in advance for full and official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedure that apply to you. Where can I get a Symposium invitation letter so that I can apply for a visa?
Please send a request for an official invitation letter to the Symposium Secretariat at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make sure to send us your full name (as printed in your passport), full postal address and passport number. An official invitation letter will be created and sent to you by e-mail.
